Due Season bg.png

 Dear Great Faith Family,

As we step into 2026, the Spirit of God has given our house a clear prophetic mandate. This is Due Season, and the defining requirement of this season is Responsive Obedience.

God has already opened the doors.

This year is not about asking God to do more. It is about God requiring believers to do what He has already instructed. Due Season belongs to those who recognize opportunity, respond without delay, and move through service.

Open doors in this season will not look dramatic. They will look demanding. They will appear as responsibility, surrendered alignment, service, and immediate action. Opposition or difficulty in fulfilling God’s will does not mean stop. It confirms the significance of the assignment and the supernatural reward the enemy wants to delay.

Scripture makes this clear:
1 Corinthians 16:9 (AMPC) “For a wide door of opportunity for effectual (service) has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”Resistance is not a warning sign. It is confirmation that the door matters.

Here is the governing truth for 2026:

Responsive obedience is immediate alignment followed by decisive action.

When God speaks, you move.
No delay. No negotiation. No spiritual stalling.

Responsive obedience is acting on God’s instruction at the moment of awareness, not after conditions improve or emotions settle. It is obedience that does not wait for clarity, comfort, or sense-realm confirmation.

James 1:22 declares that hearing without doing is self-deception. Galatians 6:9 confirms that harvest belongs to those who do not faint. Revelation 3:8 reveals the door is already open. John 7:17 teaches that clarity follows obedience.

Due Season is time-sensitive. Open doors are opportunity windows. Responsive obedience determines whether a door becomes a dwelling place of promise or a missed moment that delays promised progress.

To help us “Maximize Open Door Opportunities”, the Lord has given us seven clear pillars to focus on in 2026.

1. SUPPLICATION – Posture Before Permission
Open doors respond to ordered obedience, and supplication positions you to recognize the doors God opens. Prayer precedes access. You do not walk into open doors casually. You approach deliberately.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (Philippians 4:6, KJV).

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16, KJV).

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men” (1 Timothy 2:1, KJV).

Supplication dials in discernment. It removes emotional noise and keeps you aligned with God’s timing so you do not miss the door or force one open.

2. SEEKING – Focus Determines Discovery
Open doors are rarely obvious to the distracted. Seeking is intentional pursuit. God rewards focused hunger.

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness” (Matthew 6:33, KJV).

“Ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13, KJV).

“He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6, KJV).

Seeking sharpens vision. It separates opportunity from noise and keeps you from chasing good things while missing God things.

3. SERVING – Access Follows Alignment
Serving positions you inside the system where doors open. God advances servants, not spectators.

“He that is greatest among you shall be your servant” (Matthew 23:11, KJV).

“For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister” (Mark 10:45, KJV).

“Be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58, KJV).

Service proves readiness for increase. Many doors open only to those already working.

4. SACRIFICE – Cost Authenticates Calling

Every open door demands exchange. Sacrifice removes entitlement and demonstrates trust.

“Present your bodies a living sacrifice” (Romans 12:1, KJV).

“I will not offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing” (2 Samuel 24:24, KJV).

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:27, KJV).

Sacrifice prepares capacity. It qualifies you to steward opportunities that open next.

5. STANDING – Endurance Protects Access

Doors test stability. Standing guards what obedience unlocks.

“Having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13, KJV).
“In due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9, KJV).
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith” (1 Corinthians 16:13, KJV).

Stability sustains momentum. Many lose Open Door Opportunities through fatigue.

6. SUPPLY – Provision Follows Assignment
God funds what He authorizes. Supply flows where obedience goes.

“My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19, KJV).
“God is able to make all grace abound toward you” (2 Corinthians 9:8, KJV).
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1, KJV).

Supply confirms alignment and ensures sustainability, not strain.

7. SURPLUS – Overflow Validates Stewardship
Surplus is not excess. It is capacity to expand impact.

“Give, and it shall be given unto you… running over” (Luke 6:38, KJV).

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings” (Proverbs 28:20, KJV).

“Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness” (2 Corinthians 9:11, KJV).

Surplus marks the transition from preservation to advancement.

Due Season is not passive. It is an activated posture. We maximize open door opportunities by supplicating expectantly, seeking intentionally, serving faithfully, sacrificing willingly, standing firmly, stewarding supply, and multiplying surplus.

Concluding Instruction to Partners – Due Season Consecration

As an act of faith and alignment with what the Spirit of God is saying to our house, I am calling every partner to participate with me in the Due Season Consecration.

This consecration is not symbolic. It is strategic.

Monday, January 5 through Wednesday, January 7, 2026, we will enter a focused time of prayer and consecration to posture ourselves for Responsive Obedience and to maximize the open doors God has already set before us.

This consecration is designed to:

  • Quiet the soul so discernment is sharpened.

  • Align the heart so obedience is immediate.

  • Prepare posture so movement is decisive.

Due Season does not reward intention. It rewards response.

By participating in this consecration, you are declaring that you will not hesitate, delay, or negotiate when God gives instruction. You are positioning yourself to recognize opportunity, respond without delay, and move through service.

I am asking you to treat these three days seriously.
Fast as you are led.
Pray with intention.
Listen with expectation.
Respond with action.

This is how we enter Due Season together.
Prepared. Aligned. Responsive.

Open doors are present.
Movement is mandatory.
Acceleration is promised.

Let us consecrate ourselves and respond together.

In faith and expectation,
Pastor Patrick A. Ligon
