Focus: Advance into Authority

Scripture (KJV): 1 Samuel 16:13 – “Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.”

Devotional: David was overlooked by men but chosen by God. When the horn of oil was poured on his head, obscurity ended and authority began. Advancement happens when God’s Spirit rests on you, not when people approve of you. You may feel unseen, but heaven sees you as anointed for influence, leadership, and impact. Authority is not about position but about Spirit-empowerment. Like David, the Spirit of the Lord marks you for advancement that no one can deny.

Confession: I walk in the authority and anointing of God. His Spirit empowers me to lead and influence.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for anointing me. I will not shrink back in obscurity, but I step into the authority You’ve given me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
