Fight for the Surface

### Daily Big Idea

Faith isn't a moment you visit. It's oxygen you fight for.

### Scripture

1 Corinthians 9:24 KJV

"Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain."

### Revelation

Picture a swimmer pushed underwater. For a second they can float. But the moment they need air, every muscle they have aims at one thing -- the surface. That's the level of daily discipline real faith requires. Not once. Not when it's convenient. Every day.

Paul told the Corinthians to run like people who actually intend to obtain the prize, not like people casually jogging a route they might finish. Faith that lasts isn't the faith you visit on your best days. It's the faith you fight for on your hardest ones, because you understand you genuinely need it, the way you need air.

### Key Statement

Faith isn't a moment you visit. It's oxygen you fight for.

### ACE Application

Acknowledge: I've been treating faith like an occasional visit instead of daily oxygen.

Confess: Faith is not optional maintenance in my life -- it is what I actually run on.

Execute: Fight for one specific act of faith today the way I'd fight for a breath -- with everything, not with leftovers.

### Faith Action

Identify the moment in your day when it's hardest to stay in faith. Decide right now, before you get there, exactly how you'll fight for the surface in that moment instead of drifting.

### Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, give me the discipline of the swimmer who fights for the surface. I don't want faith to be a place I visit on convenient days -- I want it to be the air I run on every day. Strengthen me to run this race like I actually intend to obtain the prize. In Jesus' name, amen.

### Faith Confession

Faith is not a place I visit -- it's the air I run on. I fight for it daily. I run this race to obtain, not just to participate. My discipline is Built to Last.
