### Revelation

Instability rarely shows up as a full collapse first. It shows up as small warning signs -- a short temper that wasn't there last year, a corner you started cutting in your prayer life, an excuse you keep giving God for your own inconsistency. I call these stress cracks.

Stress cracks are not the disaster. Stress cracks are the mercy -- the foundation trying to get your attention before the weather does. A double-minded, wavering life produces exactly this kind of instability. The good news is that a stress crack, caught early, is repairable. A collapse is not a warning anymore.
