Stand to the End

Scripture

Hebrews 10:35–36 KJV
“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”

Daily Big Idea

Standing to the end doesn't mean you never stumbled. It means you pick back up and hold your course until the promise comes.

Revelation

Some people stop standing because they look at everything that piled up and decide they're too far behind to finish.

That's the catch-up burden, and it's regret in disguise.

The Hebrew word for repentance is shuv: to turn back, to go back.

The prodigal son wasted everything, and he didn't come home with a payment plan. He came home with a confession, and while he was still a great way off, the father ran to him.

You do the returning, and God does the restoring.

Then you stand.

Don't cast away your confidence. It carries a great reward, and patience carries you to the promise.

Key Statement

God's not asking you to catch up. He's asking you to pick up.

ACE Application

ALIGN: Drop the payment plan. You don't owe God a catch-up schedule. You owe Him a return.

CONSECRATE: Go back to the exact place you left off with God and pick up right there.

EXCEL: Hold your course. Decide today that you won't cast away your confidence before the reward comes.

Faith Action

Name the last place you were walking in obedience before you drifted: a prayer time, a reading plan, a church commitment, or an assignment.

Don't try to make up every missed day.

Pick it back up today, at that exact spot, and do it once.

Then write on your card: “I will not cast away my confidence. Hebrews 10:35.”

Prayer

Father, in Jesus' name, I arise and come back to You.

I lay down the catch-up burden, because it's regret in disguise.

I pick up right where I left off with You.

Thank You for running to me.

I will not cast away my confidence, because it has great recompense of reward.

Give me patience to do Your will and stand until I receive the promise.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Faith Confession

I'm not catching up. I'm picking up.

I do the returning. God does the restoring.

I will not cast away my confidence.

My confidence has great recompense of reward.

I have patience, and I do the will of God.

I stand to the end, and I receive the promise.

In Jesus' name.
