The Next Step Delivers You From Distraction

Faith for the next step brings focus where pressure creates distraction.

Scripture

Luke 10:41–42 KJV
“And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful…”

Revelation

Martha was not lazy. Martha was not irresponsible. Martha was busy, burdened, distracted, and troubled about many things.

Jesus did not rebuke her because she was doing something evil. He corrected her because she had lost focus on what was needful.

That is a major revelation. Sometimes the enemy does not need to get you into sin. He only needs to scatter your focus among “many things” until you miss the one thing God is requiring.

The next step delivers you from the tyranny of too much. It brings your faith, attention, energy, and obedience back into alignment.

God’s will is not always hidden. Sometimes it is buried under distraction.

Key Statement

When I am troubled by many things, God will bring me back to the one thing that is needful.
