The Blessing Belongs To The Doer

The blessing is attached to obedience, not observation.

James 1:25 KJV
“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein… this man shall be blessed in his deed.”

The promise is not given to the forgetful hearer. The blessing is promised to the doer.

James says the person who continues in the perfect law of liberty and becomes a doer of the work shall be blessed in his deed.

Joshua 1:8 gives the same pattern:

Speak it.
Meditate on it.
Observe to do it.
Then prosperity and success follow.

God’s Word must not only be in my mouth. It must govern my movement.

God’s Word must not only be in my meditation. It must become my method.

Choose one promise you are believing God for. Then identify the obedience connected to that promise.

I am willing and obedient. I speak the Word, meditate on the Word, and do the Word. The blessing is working in my obedience.

Father, connect my faith to obedience. I refuse to observe only. I will do what Your Word requires. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
